Lubricants NZ, the distributor of Elf oil in New Zealand is “a smaller, growing company with all the complexity of many large enterprises,” according to its owner Andrew Stewart. “When we went looking for new business ERP software we had a large shopping list of requirements to cope not only with our present but also our future aspirations. OneOffice is a fully integrated ERP product aimed at distributors, wholesalers, light manufacturers, importers and exporters of all types of products. It is a highly configurable system that traditionally was aimed at companies of 100 users plus but can now scale down to 8 users competitively.

Like many New Zealand companies, Lubricants NZ has the demands of an international company but without the large staff that usually go with those demands. No one needs to be reminded that oil is product with high price volatility and exchange rate risks, so Lubricants needed price management and control to mitigate this. Add to that multiple stock locations and consignment stock across the country, and supply chain management becomes a critical part of the business success.
